About Us

Hello there; here we are, there you are. Welcome. This project isn’t the first of its kind; we’re part of a long historical tradition that realizes there’s more to life than consuming music, food, friends, and education. In short, we believe that there’s more to life than consuming ourselves from the inside, out.

Does this mean that we should all write? Well, maybe not. But it does mean that it’s more than realistic to do three things:

a. get educated (this isn’t some hollow slogan; really. Go read something.)

b. realize our material situation. We hope that not everyone who reads this attends Rutgers, or is an American, so I don’t very well wish to pretend I could spell it out in a few lines. But in general, this pamphlet was created so that more people might understand the real situation of the American student, and the situation of the student in general. This is not to say that the student body is different, elevated, or isolated from other movements and struggles; in fact we know the opposite is true. Student life is another twisting strand growing out of late capital’s serpentine brain.

c. Read the pamphlet, either by downloading the PDF, reading the text on the main page, or if you have a print version. Please pass it on to someone else who you know might appreciate it, or even someone you do not know. this way student life can be connected, even if through a meager 20-something pages. This is the chance to help more than just a few of us realize that material condition and understand our connections with each other. Without the spread of sentiment and knowledge any hope is becomes stunted.
